Homestead Hall Welcomes Jimmy Fortune - Oct 14, 2022
We are always thrilled to host Jimmy Fortune! We hope you will join us for an evening of purely GREAT entertainment.
Fortune sang tenor for the Statler Brothers for 21years beginning in 1982. During this part of his musical career, he wrote hits such as "Elizabeth," "Too Much on My Heart," "My Only Love," and "More Than a Name on a Wall." "Elizabeth" was also released as a top bluegrass single for Dailey & Vincent. When the rest of the legendary Statler Brothers group retired in 2002, Fortune continued to tour extensively across the United States and writing country, gospel, and bluegrass tunes.
Fortune recently performed at the Homestead as part of the inaugural 2022 event, The Homestead Festival this past June.
